Missions

The EADS Group's decision to create the EADS Corporate Foundation in 2004 mirrors its drive to support scientific research and the people who make it happen, through five objectives:

  • Developing links between the academic, university and public sector research communities and the aeronautical and space industry and technology sector.
  • Contributing to the development of scientific and technological research in multidisciplinary fields, engineering sciences, information, technology and communication sciences and strategic studies.
  • Contributing to the development of scientific culture through education, information and communication.
  • Strengthening ethical and corporate commitment in the economic world: respect for the environment, the enforcement of human rights and gender quality.
  • Contributing to the transfer of technological innovations from the aeronautic and space industry to applications of general interest.

The EADS Foundation serves its mandates on three fronts:

  • Support to academic research and its actors ;
  • L'accompagnement de Fondations et d'associations ;
  • Development of incentive actions toward young.

EADS' position entails responsibilities that stretch beyond its role as a business firm. They indeed entail a steadfast commitment to furthering knowledge and research. The EADS Corporate Foundation is the Group's arm in charge of honoring that commitment.

This Foundation has embraced the same values as EADS: we believe in anticipating, in nurturing talent and in harnessing synergies, and value the diversity that stakeholders in research endeavors can pool."
