Governance
EADS established the EADS Corporate Foundation on 4 September 2004. It was founded by the Group's main French subsidiaries, namely EADS, Airbus, Astrium, Cassidian, Eurocopter, MBDA.
The Board running the EADS Corporate Foundation counts 15 members, directors representing its founding companies and prominent outside experts from France's leading research institutes.
The Board of Directors can count on the support it needs from the Foundation's Scientific Council and an Operationnal Committee that monitors the projects that the Foundation is sponsoring.
In 2009, The Foundation's mandate was renewed for a 5-year term. Its new budget amounts to € 26 million.
Louis Gallois, Chief Executive Officer is its Honorary Chairman.

Missions : To decide the Foundation's strategic roadmap and monitor operation management.
