Prizes

Besides supporting research projects, the Foundation has decided to reward talent and has partnered well-known institutions such as the French Academy of Science to create the Prize that it awards to promote scientists and their work.

This Foundation is intent on rewarding talent across the spectrum - from young scientists who have just finished their doctoral thesis to internationally acclaimed experts, and on to actively supporting women scientists.
It awards types of Prizes:

• EADS Foundation Prizes: In association with the Academy of sciences, these three prizes reward scientists for their research findings and associated industrial applications.
• Best Thesis Prizes: The EADS Foundation rewards six Doctors in Sciences for their outstanding doctoral research work.
• Irene Joliot-Curie Prizes: In association with the French Ministry of Education and Research: promotes the place of women in France's research and technology circles.

These prizes are the EADS Foundation's way of providing a springboard for today's and tomorrow's scientists, and thereby keeping research and innovation at the core of our society.
