From January 13th to February 29th, the EADS corporate Foundation launched its 2012 call for research projects.The objective of this call for proposals is to support the upstream original frontier research.

The proposals will be assessed by the EADS Foundation Scientific Council in according with the criteria and selected process.

The fields of the call for proposals are:

  • Robotics, man-machine interaction and autonomy
  • Environment and sustainable development
  • Safety and security
  • Energy
  • Information Technologies and Sciences
  • Means of transport and mobility-enhancing systems
  • Disruptive technologies, groundbreaking prospects and new scientific paradigms, and transfer to aerospace technology.

Since 2004 the allocated budget by project reached in average 150,000 euros.

The results will be announced in May.
